Organized by the State cultural ministry jointly with SITMICOS, a state level organization under industries ministry is intended to uplift the socio-cultural urge in every school student, without classifying according to their scheme of curriculum, hence in every respect Uyirppu 2020 is proclaimed as the most authentic and unique Kerala School Festival and also the biggest in Asia due to its participation.
Due to Corona pandemics’ associated restrictions imposed by both Central and State governments for the benefit of the mankind, we had our own apprehensions about the launch and may have some limitations in reaching the eligible candidates, which all may have to kindly bear with us. The coming years the event will be conducted in the most vibrant manner, by alleviating all probable shortfalls. Let this be an ice breaking mental exercise against the monotonous Corona imposed lock down, by all eligible families participating effectively on to the program.
The State festival of School- Uyirppu 2020 is the outcome of long thought after cultural upliftment project of SITMICOS aimed at integrating all kinds of syllabus school children of Kerala under one umbrella so as to name it meaningfully as the ‘Online School Festival of Kerala’ which eventually will turn as the most unique and the biggest ever participatory students’ arts festival of Asia. This is intended mainly to take the best artistic talents of every Kerala student irrespective of their syllabus categorization like Kerala State syllabus, CBSE, ICSE, International syllabus, etc., etc. The basic man of today has gone with boundaries of caste, creed, religion, politics, region, state, country, etc., etc., which needs to be curtailed at its beginning stage itself for which we thought Arts is the most amicable and acceptable form to bring everyone under one umbrella thus to help the young generation to develop a healthy mind of integrity, solidarity and patriotic.
For the effective implementation of the project STMICOS is joining hands with the Kerala Government Culture ministry and this will continue every year with more rejuvenation and innovation. We will always be moving along with the government policies and by not disturbing the education system at any level.
Let us together make this a most successful event for the years ahead, for the budding youngsters and for the State as a whole.
The Uyirppu 2020 is an after thought of the pandemics of COVID-19, which literally and abruptly tied every segment of humanity under their living areas without leaving even any minute opportunity to prepare any alternative to overcome any of those restrictions. From the most inspiring recovery and protection measures constantly been taken by our Chief Minister and more over as SITMICOS being a socially committed organization has decided to find some solution to revive the entire family of the state (to a great extend) by making them involve through a children’s Arts & Literature competition program, that too by not involving money, travel, other strains, etc., which we found most suiting to the current situation. SITMICOS are most happy to join the psycho-social upliftment project of our Chief Minister, which eventually will pay result to a huge mass of the state within the stipulated time frame. Let us all, through Uyirppu 2020 join hands with all revival steps taken by the government of Kerala hence to revamp our state from COVID-19 pandemics. Keralites have set models to the globe in several areas, hence have to join together to revamp our state to a great furtherance.
